All are welcome to come together as a community with the intention of doing inner, personal, or creative work during the morning session. It is a time to be still and listen...to dream...to meditate...to journey...to seek...to discover...to heal...to move...to embody...to commune. Whatever work you need to do, this is an opportunity for you to have sacred space in which to do it.
For this work we will be using the shamanic rhythm on the Mother Drum to slip in and out of altered states. Bring your drum if you have one, it’s ok if you don’t. Flutes, didgeridoos, and other instruments are welcome. Please, no plant or synthetic medicines before or during the event other than the Tobacco in the afternoon. I honor plant medicines, but this simply isn’t the right venue for it.
Lunch will be provided. It will be suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten and dairy sensitivities. If you have other dietary needs please PM me.
For the afternoon session there will be a sacred Pipe and Tobacco ceremony, along with more drumming. This is a time where we smoke prayers of gratitude and for the healing of ourselves and the land. Smoking the Pipe is not required. You may hold the Pipe instead of smoke it or you may be a witness for others who do.
We will close the day with a celebration of collaborative music and free style drumming.
